Streptococci

Streptococci (sci. classification streptococcaceae) belong to the family of lactic-acid bacteria populating the intestine (like lactobacilli and enterococci) and are Gram-positive, anaerobic but aerotolerant pathogens arranged in chains. Like staphylococci, they exhibit very little UVC resistance.
