Norovirus

Noroviruses (Norwalk Viruses) are non-enveloped viruses with single-stranded RNA. They have an extremely high contagiousness, and are the most common cause of viral gastroenteritis (gastric flu) in humans. Hospitals and nursing homes are particularly vulnerable to repeated epidemic norovirus outbreaks.
