Oxygen

Oxygen (O₂) is the most common element on Earth, and as molecular oxygen, it is an odourless, colourless gas. Oxygen occurs primarily in combination with other elements such as hydrogen (to form water); and constitutes then most of the mass of living organisms, because water is their major constituent.
